Careers

Our History

1950's

The very first operator cabs for Caterpillar and John Deere roll off the manufacturing lines in Rochester, Minnesota. Starting in 1957, IBM contracts with Crenlo to recondition their mainframe and supercomputing business machines.

1960's

Manufacturing for 3M expands, a second plant is constructed, and the company is acquired by General Fireproofing Company.

1970's

Emcor is acquired for its broad product portfolio of quality computing cabinets, enclosures, and consoles engineered to protect sensitive electronic equipment.

1980's

General Fireproofing Company sells the company. Crenlo becomes one of the largest privately held companies in the state of Minnesota

1990's

Crenlo is acquired by Dover Diversified, Inc. Under Dover ownership, Crenlo continues to enhance its high standards and make new advancements in technology, equipment and processes.

Today

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is formed by the merger of Crenlo Cab Products and Worthington Industries Engineered Cabs in November 2019.
